39 weeks

Well guys.... This is my LAST pregnancy post! I am planning on having Barrett come rain or shine on Thursday 4/23 :) Our plan is to be at the hospital by 5:00 am and have a baby the same day!! I was induced with Blakely at exactly 39 weeks and had him 39 weeks and 1 day. I did an overnight induction with him, but my doctor thinks it will go much quickly this go round!! You can read Blakely's labor and delivery story here. I am being induced by my own choice and not for medical reasons... I get that question a lot.

Here is a link to Blakely at 39 weeks

This pretty much sums up how we spent the weekend.........
Official countdown: 3 days

Current Belly Measurement: 42 inches

Total Weight Gain: 35 lbs. I gained a total of 31 with Blakely, so it is pretty close!

How am I feeling ??: Feeling so much better than last week ( physically ) but my emotions are running rampant! I am crying for no reason and having some crazy dreams. Only three more nights of "big belly" sleeping, which I think is worse then having a newborn. Please tell me some of you agree?? Tomorrow is my last day of work and Blakely and I will spend Wednesday together, playing hookie from daycare, eating lots of popcorn at the movies, jumping at pump it up or exploring at the Zoo.... We haven't decided yet  :)

Foods I love : I'm over food.

Doctor Appointment update 4/20/2015: I am still 2-3 cms dilated and pretty thinned out. Doctor wants us to get to the hospital a little before 5:00 am and they will start the Pitocin Drip. Then he will come and check me around 7:00 or 7:30 and break my water if contractions are consistent. After my water breaks, then comes the wonderful epidural ........We hope to have Barrett early Thursday afternoon !

Thank you all for the support during this pregnancy. I am thankful that I was able to maintain my weekly posts so Barrett will have this all to look back on. I am thankful for my sweet bible study/ sunday school girls who have set us up on a meal schedule so that my family won't starve. I am thankful for all the encouraging texts, prayers and hugs that I have received over the past 10 MONTHS; It's crazy to think I have been pregnant since July 2014. I am utmost thankful to my Lord and Savior for blessing us more than what we deserve, day in and day out; his love for my family is amazing and undeserving. Please keep our family in your prayers these next few days and I promise to update soon with a picture ( or two ) of our newest family member, Barrett Wilson Taunton.

Until Then !
