Busy Bees......

Yet another weekend on the road for the Taunton family ! Not that I am complaining, it has been an AMAZING summer getting to spend so much time with all of our friends and family :) I just wish everyone wasn't ....well...everywhere! Whether it's Auburn,Lake Martin, Birmingham or Perry County, let's just say the Escape has been running the roads here lately ! Friday night was a blast......and it always is when you are celebrating BIRTHDAYS!

Sunshine turned 25 and we celebrated at Superior Grill :)

 We spent our Saturday being lazy at Mom's and had a late lunch at The Depot in old town Helena ...Gotta try the slaw dogs, they are delicious and Jason's favorite:)

Walking through the streets of Helena is like walking through a movie set....It's unique touches are adorable and the whole town is so charming. The French Flea is a really cool artsy shop that had GREAT PRICES on distressed/refurbished/hand painted furniture. It was a breath of fresh air to see coffee tables for 50 bucks instead of the big ticket ones we normally run into while antiquing around the Birmingham area...... for example, we found these guys for a good price and I think they would fit in just nicely at the cabin :) Dad, you can thank me later for my keen eye for rustic cabin decor..wink,wink ;)

Being in Helena reminded us of this day.........

Sunday at Mountain Top..What a cool Church. ~ Dr. Calvin Miller spoke on  Philippians 2:5: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ.” … It’s time for a transplant. He was the best speaker I have heard in a long time and kept us laughing and learning all at the same time ......and I love the feel of a community church; it's always awesome to feel the power of God not only through the message but through the ministry of music. They got down in that bad boy :) Topped of our Sunday with a great Lunch at Dale's with mom and skipper and headed back to eclectic to pick up this guy........Big props to the in-laws for being such great grandparents to our georgie! If they already take such good care of our dog, can you imagine the "real" kids?! Enough said! I hope everyone has a great week and HAPPY SUNDAY!
