Well today was the big day! I didn't think those two and a half weeks would ever get here! Jason and I finally got to see our HEALTHY baby today :) I think everyone must have prayed extra hard for us because not only did we have a strong healthy heart beat, but it looks as if baby T has a strong appetite as well! Nurse Laura pointed out the big belly, as you will notice in the pictures to come......All I can say is listening to that heartbeat was the most amazing thing I have ever heard. It as so loud, and so fast. I was so excited I couldn't quit talking (shocker) and the nurse had to ask me to be still and quiet so that the baby's heartbeat would become steady. I am going to refer baby T as "he" from now on . It doesn't seem right it just say "it"? I don't know....but it he is a she I will change my terminology later. His heart rate was a healthy 169bpm and he measured at exactly 8 weeks and 4 days, so due date is JULY 12, 2012 just as Dr. Williams expected. I am still feeling GREAT. Still no symptoms really~ not as much energy as usual, but that is to be expected.
I am craving sour candy and fried okra pretty much all the time, but I craved those things before pregnancy too :) I am trying my best to make healthy choices, but I most definitely give into my cravings.
** SEE THE BIG ROUND BELLY??? That butter bean is eating good!
Our baby is 2.21 cm - about the tip of your pinky finger!
Next appointment: January 5, 2012
