Baby Bump - 7 Weeks

Wow, a whole 7 months since I have posted last! We have been busy and yes, I have neglected my blog.... Big news here in the Taunton household!! We are going to have a baby! I am currently 7 weeks * insert clap here *

 and have decided that I want to record my pregnancy so that I won't forget every moment of this little one's life :)  We found out that we were expecting on Friday 11/4/2011. I didn't feel good at work and left to go get a sprite and crackers. I had a feeling that something else might be going on, so I picked up a pregnancy test as well. It was hard, but I waited until both Jason and I got home from work to take the test. Within 30 seconds we saw the "two pink lines". It was such an amazing feeling. ( FYI I took two more tests over the weekend just to confirm the news. I couldn't believe it!) We had been praying for a while that God would choose us to be parents and the fact that he finally was putting HIS trust in us was an amazing feeling. A big promise to a big God, that we would be the best we could be.The hubby and I are more than thrilled about being parents, but just as nervous too. We immediately called our parents and told them the news! It was REALLY hard for me to keep this big secret! I ended up telling a friend a day until finally Jason said, let's just tell everyone! I don't see how people keep the news for so long, I am terrible with secrets! And I think George might know the news... I am finding him to be very clingy these days!! 

My first appointment was Thursday 11/17 - I was 6 weeks and 2 days! 

Jason has been working out of town this month, so my sweet Mom joined me for this visit. I explained to Dr. Williams about Jason being gone and how he didn't want to miss this appointment for the world. Dr. Williams scheduled an ultrasound for December 5th at 1:30 to insure that Jason would be back and town and present for the next appointment. Estimated Due Date for Baby T : 7/12/2011 . I still think it's the 10th, but give or take a few days :) 

I CAN HARDLY WAIT! Counting down the days........

I have been thankful to have little to no symptoms so far. A bit more tired earlier than usual, but that is about it! Keep up the prayers for a healthy little one :) Until next time,
