10 weeks

A few things I would like to share, that I wish I knew the first go round...........

1) FREE BREASTPUMP!! Seriously? Why didn't I know about the insurance coverage the first time around? I am thankful that I was able to borrow a friend's, but I am super excited about having my very own!! So, another preggo friend referred me to THIS SITE and it was the easiest thing ever. Basically the program walked me through getting my Doctor to write a prescription for a breast pump, and this bad boy was on my door step three days later!

Now, you can get a bigger, "badder" pump than this one, but you might have to pay a little out of pocket. But insurance covered this one 100% and I'm happy about that!

2) Ever heard of a program called Baby Yourself? Basically, it is a program offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama to provide additional support to pregnant moms by phone calls, goodies in the mail and nurses/lactation specialists available Monday-Friday to answer any questions you may have! My nurse's name is Sandy and she is wonderful to deal with! Here is the best part, if you participate in the program for the full 40 weeks or until your baby is born, BCBS waives your co-pays and hospital fees! Now, when I had Blakely 2 some years ago, we didn't have a large bill at the end of it all, and I think it was around $250.00, but hey, not having to pay that is gonna be pretty great! Not to mention, I have a new friend named Sandy :) I encourage you to contact your insurance to see if they provide "baby yourself" especially if this is your first pregnancy! I would have loved to have someone answer all of my 100 million questions the first go round......

Official Countdown : 208 days, a prune? Oh how cute lol

How am I feeling???: WONDERFUL! I like going to bed extra early, but then again, who doesn't?

Foods I love : SWEETS! Which is funny because I liked more salty last time? Do I see a girl in our future?? 

My current "no thank you " foods: I'm doing ok right now........ 

What I am looking forward to : Cotton Festival next weekend and more Auburn Football!! I also have my next doctor appointment on Monday 10/6 :) Cannot wait to hear the little bug's heartbeat!

I thought about getting all fancy with my belly pics, by doing a cute chalkboard thingy or something, but then I figured Blakely would be jealous since all of his belly pics were shot in the bathroom. It is only fair to tnut2 that his/her pics are in the bathroom as well. I'm stayin' classy like that. You're welcome :)
