Blakely Month 6

What in the world happened to that last 6 months????

You have grown so much and I wish time would just slow down sometimes!! This month, we rocked out your first Christmas and New Years : ) You got too many toys and had more fun with the wrapping paper, but it was so much fun experiencing the holidays with you. It was much more fun with you out of my belly, unlike last year! You now are an experienced baby food eater, a constant babbler and a newly "sitter-upper" ~ You are still nursing at home and take a bottle at school, you are in a size 3 diaper and love a variety of foods !! Your favorite foods are bananas and squash!!




Your DADDY makes homemade baby food for you and I hope you learn a lot from him, because your Mama is not much for the kitchen! You are happy. You are healthy and we are thankful!! You now reach for me when you want me and it makes my HEART MELT!!!!

Sitting up unassisted on 12/30/2012- 5 months 3 weeks old

You love your puppy and we spend time petting him everyday :) 

You still HATE tummy time, but stick it out when your mommy or daddy does it with you

You officially started rolling over at 5 months, AT SCHOOL, but still didn't do it at home until recently..... You little stinker!




Your first word was "DADA" you started babbling shortly before you hit six months. Baby genius I tell ya!






We are headed to your six month appointment tomorrow!! I can't wait to see how you
 have grown !! Will post stats and pictures tomorrow :) We love you duggadoo !!


UPDATE 1/10/2012 You now weight 16.6 lbs and are 26 inches long!! You are now in the 35th  percentile for height and 25th  percentile for weight!! You hated your shots today :( Mommy bought you a prize afterwards to make you feel better though !!
