Living with George......: Blakely- Two Months

It has really flown by! Things are getting easier everyday as we are finally getting to know our little man! He is starting to develop the most precious personality and we are loving every minute of it! I am going back to work in just 5 days, and although I know it will be struggle, I know Blakely will be in great hands at his new daycare :)

This month, you took your first beach trip

experienced your church nursery,

caught your first cold,

had your first shots ( THREE!! ) :(

and enjoyed your first Auburn game! Since you were still fighting your cold, you were a little cranky on game day..........

But since you are still so sweet and adorable, you let us take lots of pictures to remember this exciting day :) These are our favorites........

And you are just now starting to pay attention to your brother George......

However, I cannot say the same thing about him paying attention to you......

You really don't like Tummytime.....AT ALL.... So we compromise by letting you cheat a little by laying on your Daddy's chest. You are very strong and hold your head up by yourself!

Today was your two month check up!!

You now weigh 10 lbs and 8 ozs and are 22 1/2 inches long! You have gained 2.5 lbs and 1.5 inches in just a month!! You did great at the Doctor and Daddy was able to help you get your shots since your mommy doesn't do well with needles.... especially ones that are making you cry! I figured you would be all cranky when we got home, but you were sweet and smiley :)

This next month is full of a lot of firsts for you as well!

Mommy goes back to work, while you have fun at day care; you will experience your first Scales family dove shoot, attend your first wedding (for your cousin Darian) and HOPEFULLY experience your first "sleep all through the night" :)

Your mom would LOVE that!!

You currently are still waking up about three times a night ...... I hope that changes very quick since I go back to work NEXT week!! You are also learning to "tolerate" the bottle. You would much rather have your Mama, but I have a feeling you will adjust once you get on a schedule at DC. Prayers that you begin to love that bottle a little bit more!!!
