Well we made it! I am officially 9 months pregnant today J
I have completed 36 weeks of pregnancy, so I am set to embark on my 37th week this week! I go back to the doctor on Monday to get checked for progression and I am hoping to see some dilatation, but I am not getting my hopes up. This little guy is going to come when he is ready! I am no longer traveling for work since I could potentially go into labor any day! That means long hours in the office :/ One thing I love about my job is the in and out aspect of being on the go! I know it will be a good thing for me, and more importantly Blakely, to sit my happy butt in the office everyday, but I hope I don’t get too stir crazy!
Official Countdown: 28 days J
Current Belly Measurements: 42 inches
Weight Gain: 28 lbs……. not too bad I guess. I don’t feel too huge? I am learning that it really is difficult to do some day to day activities anymore like bend over, vacuum or even ride in the car for long periods of time.
How am I feeling??: Considering how far along I am, I am feeling pretty dang awesome. Blakely likes to wrap his body around my right side and sometimes the pressure from his protruding body parts hurts a little, but I just push him around slightly and it feels fine again. His movements are super strong and sometimes I catch myself saying “Ouch” out loud when he moves across my tummy. Minimal back pain and the heartburn has subsided … I feel as if I am a pregnancy pro! I am however taking the weekend to REST…. Yes I said rest… because I have a feeling there won’t be many more Saturdays coming up where I can spend the whole day in bed J And I am ok with that!
Foods I love: Sweet tea with tons of lemon. YUM!
My current “no thank you foods”: I’ll take vegetables over your hamburger.
What I am looking forward to?: This is a no brainer. I hope we don’t get too anxious in the weeks to come…. It is so hard not to think about what is to come in a mere 28 ( or less! ) days! I eat, sleep and DREAM babies. I can’t help myself. Blakely needs to come on J
