Blakely the Banana?

This week is my 21st week of pregnancy and our little man is about 10.5 inches and weighs about 12.2 ounces....you guessed it.... the size of a banana! I have spent most of the weekend being lazy and trying to get over a terrible cold, but I have felt much better today. It is awful being sick and pregnant, because you already aren't always feeling yourself as it is, and a runny nose and sore throat don't really help the situation. Not to mention the fact that not only have I been sick, but over the top emotional. Embarrassing as it is I had my first major meltdown on Saturday morning. I cried about.....CHEESE TOAST!! I guess I thought Jason could read my brain and just knew how bad I was craving some bacon. The sight of the cheese toast made me emotional..... I don't know what came over me!! I could not stop crying! I ended up calming down by doing some laundry (yes it's therapy for me) and my sweet husband STILL fixed me the bacon! He said he wanted some too, otherwise he would have just made me "deal" with my cheese toast he had already fixed. I have to laugh at myself on that one!

I hope Blakely is going to be a famous soccer player one day because HE LOVES TO KICK ME. I cannot complain because half the time I am poking him to make him do it for other people :p oops - It is so crazy how I can feel every move now.... the best way I can describe how it feels is when I relate it being nervous. Like right before you go down a roller coaster or you get caught in a fib. I normally have that feeling whenever he is swimming laps around his little water bed in my belly.

Today:
After church we decided to conquer painting the baby room. Now before anyone fusses at me about being around paint, the house was well ventilated and I took breaks every 15  5 minutes to escape. We used a high quality Valspar paint that really didn't have too much of a smell, which was easier on all of us.

At first the Hubs was clearly NOT excited about this adventure, but once we got into it....he caved in and seemed to "enjoy" the process.

"Mom, when this "baby" comes do I still get treats?"

We still have some touching up to do, but it is great having most of the bulk of it done now!!

For my 21 week bump..... I decided to go bare belly on this one! I had my painting t-shirt on and you really couldn't see anything when I tried to take a pic. So here ya go!

I wish some of the belly would travel to the "bootay"....lol.... I have always been lacking in that department and I was hoping maybe some of this 12 pound weight gain would benefit the ole' backside :) Oh well, a gal can only dream right?

We go back to the doctor on Wednesday for my 22 week visit. I cannot wait to hear B's heartbeat again. I know he is healthy from all the karate he practices in my stomach, but I still love the sound of his sweet heart.

Thank you all for the continued prayers and support. We love you guys!
