13 Weeks and Feelin' Fierce!

Doctor's appointment went great today! Sweet Mimi ( Jason's mom ) joined me today since Jason could not get off work, and I have to say she was a great hand holder during the excruciating blood work I had to get done. My new name around Dr. Dent's office = noodle vein. Today I learned that I have very VERY small veins, and it makes blood work feel more like a root canal ! I also learned that when the nurse asks you for a "sample", make sure you actually produce what they are asking for. I had to go to the bathroom so bad by the time they called my name, and I totally aborted mission and forgot the "sample". OOPS! Needless to say I was pretty embarrassed by the pregnancy blooper, but Baby Blakely makes sure that my bladder is VERY active, so the "sample" was produced 3 minutes later. "Your Welcome" nurse :)

Here is a audio clip of our baby's heartbeat.......You have to listen really close, because I recorded it on my phone and the quality isn't great.....Dr. Williams guesstimated the heart rate to be around 140 now, but he did not really count it out.

After my appointment I met up with my Mom for some much needed beautifying :) Haley @ Doug's 2 always knows how to make my hair look fabulous and I was way past due for some highlights (My granddad asked why my hair was brown!! EEK!).

I even got my makeup touched up while I sat in foils :) Pretty right?!

As I left to check-out, the lady at the desk told me that my bill had been paid in full by my MOM! I had no idea because she had left about an hour or so before I was even done! Talk about a surprise! I then told them that I would at least buy some shampoo so that I could tip my hairdresser, and they pulled out a bag of my favorite Aveda products! My Mom had covered all the bases and made me feel like a kid again. I definitely felt good after all of the pampering this afternoon, and my Momma just topped it all off!! I love you Mom and thanks for being so sweet to me!

** The best news today is that Dr. Williams is going to do our gender ultrasound on February 6th!! I once again bugged him about my next ultrasound and he told me that he would do it at around 18 weeks! YAY!

Having a good  GREAT day and thanking the Lord for all of these blessings! I am also thankful for all of our friends and family that love our T-Nut as much as we do. Thank you all for the support and LOVE!
