If everything goes as planned we close at the end of the month and move in just in time for the Christmas holidays!! I cannot wait to put up a tree and hang our stockings on an actual Mantle :)
My sweet mother in law is adding to my Mandy Bagwell collection with these little guys :) Aren't they precious!! Of course the Mantel(s) - there is one in almost every room!- is just one of the MANY things we are super excited about......George is pumped to :) This will be his new haven.........There a cute fire pit,
an ornamental pond and separate fenced in DOGGY area, it's all sure to suit George's liking :)
In the near future we would like to add to our family. We have been talking about it for over a year......maybe longer. I told Jason once we got settled here in Wetumpka and got our own house I would consider it. Now, here we are a month from getting into our house (hopefully) and the subject has already came up!!!! No, not a baby :P tricked you didn't I ? Jason would like to add a Britney Spaniel to our crew. George is in total agreeance, because as you all know, he gets along with anything on four paws! Jason would LOVE a hunting dog, and since George doesn't really do anything but eat, sleep and poop, I think he deserves his little man friend. I will still be spoiling her , yes we want a girl, and she will be getting just as much TLC as the pug. We are going to name her REED :)*Georgia and Reeda BFF I can already see it *
But like I said, we need to get good and settled in first!! Jason will just have to wait until the perfect puppy comes along. Anybody know any good Britney breeders? I am struggling a little......
My new job has got my running around like crazy......I love the fast paced atmosphere though and I love helping the families I work with. It's very rewarding :) Can't wait to have my first day off on Thursday ! Spending the day at the dentist and then parkin it at the Mortgage company to get everything ready for closing . I hope you guys have a great week ~ Already ready for friday so I can see Dad and Mama Ang. A cabin weekend is very much necessary when the weather is nice and chilly like this :) much love,

HOMEWORK: Help me pick out a paint color for our entry way! Our love for Auburn won't allow crimson in the house ...lol....Plus I feel safer with neutrals!

you know what I'll suggest for the foyer.....a nice tan/creamy color just above white OR a soft creamy blue......
ReplyDeleteThis color is a traditional color for a foyer of this age...Victorians like red on a door or an entry way because it means "welcome." I don't blame you for painting it though, it becomes tiring after a while. :) I find Valspar's national trust colors to be the most reliable. I guess since most of them have been popular for a hundred years you can't go too wrong. A lighter brighter color would brighten it up, however be careful going too light with a color in this hall...the 80's peach that was here when we moved in showed many imperfections.
